- I think I hurt my left shoulder knitting. I kid you not. Is there physical therapy for knitters? It started to bug a week or so before TM and hasn't gone away. Last night as I was tossing in bed because I couldn't get it comfortable I realized that I should probably go talk to someone. Like maybe get a massage and see if that helps...then a chiropractor...then a doctor if all else fails. Knitting! Seriously...
- While tossing last night I let my thoughts flow and as soon as I started thinking massage I started thinking about how when K starts kindergarten I want to go to school and that made me think of my mom (she went through massage school when I was a teen) and that got me all sad and missing her. And I let myself have a good cry. I thought it would be easier by now. It's not.
- Mya wanted to learn a "mom skill" on Sunday. (She coined the term and I dig it!) I needed to iron a few table cloths, so we adjusted the board to her level and she got to work. She loves it and did a great job.
- I am going to make a Kombucha SCOBY (baby) so I can make my own Kombucha. I really like drinking it and it makes me feel SO great, but at $4 a bottle I really can't justify buying it a few times a week. Heidi got me into drinking Kombucha and I love that it is a natural detoxifier and energizer. One of my FB friends posted about making it (how have I never thought to look this up?!) and posted a link. It's going to take a few weeks because I don't already have a baby...but it will be worth it! And Mya is going to dig the experiment aspect of it! I'll post about how it goes...
- Our washer and dryer are in our garage. Our garage door is literally right across from our bedroom. Sometimes when I have clothes in the dryer and I get out of the shower and want to wear those clothes...I have no problem going in there because only my car has the door opener clicker thing so there is no way the door will open with my car safely parked inside. Until yesterday. When Kaylee pushed the button on the wall that she isn't supposed to be tall enough to push. Quickest I have moved in a while :) Just thinking about it gives me the giggles.
- Linc and I are obsessed with the game Thunderstone. Yesterday we got the last two expansions to complete our set and as I was reading some of the hero class card names aloud to double check that we had them all and getting them in alphabetical order, I had this moment of, "10 years ago I would not have guessed that this was my life." It's sooo geeky good. How much do I love that we share hobbies and aren't just turning the TV on every night?!?
- He signed up for the TM in October as well! We are starting training together (as much as we can) and I now have a partner in the eating healthy arena. I have told several people that I am going to weigh 165 by October 8th. I am. Just you wait!
- Phone date with Jessie today...just gotta get a few (loud) things done before I call her. Air pop some popcorn for the girls, make green smoothies, vacuum. And finish this post.
- Michelle posted this update on her blog and it made me realize I haven't updated mine in a while. And it's the last year! Some goals have changed...and that is okay. I plan to have a meeting with myself and edit and carry on :) Thanks Michelle!
- The weather here is amazing. I know it will be hot and sticky in July...but 2 months of that is TOTALLY worth what we have been cycling through since mid February. Bring on the sunshine!

I love kombucha! Whenever I go to whole foods I buy myself a few bottles. I'd love to make my own, but I don't like the taste of it unless it's all fruity and I have no idea how I'd replicate it.
Good luck!!
After our conversation today I am going to see if TJ's has it. Maybe a discount there will be in my future...
Email me what you do for green smoothies! I've been wanting to make some lately and I only have one recipe.

I can't stop giggling about your knitting injury! How did that happen?
"Mom skills" – love it. The other day Eva wanted me to teach her how to knit. When I told her I thought she should be a little bit older, she wanted me to teach her how to quilt...
this whole thing has me giggling. kombacha, mom skills, and nekked garaging, OH MY!
